Hollyfort Village

Hollyfort (Irish: Ráth an Chuilinn, meaning "ringfort of the holly") is a village in north County Wexford, Ireland. It lies within the townland of Mangan (Irish: an Mongán, meaning "the little swamp") in the valley of the River Bann, 5 km northwest of Gorey.

Historically it was called Rahincullin, which is an anglicisation of its Irish name.

Tip of the Month - Water Refill Stations

There are now new FREE water refill stations in Gorey.

Drinking water will now be available free of charge at various hydration stations across Gorey town as installation works are now complete on the first fountain located at Gorey Civic Square. This is to encourage people to top up refillable bottles rather than buying single use bottles of water.

Two other refill stations are planned for Main Street at the Ulster Bank, and on the Paul Funge Boulevard near the bus stop. The initiative is a collaboration of Wexford County Council and Gorey Tidy Towns,
