Hollyfort Village

Hollyfort (Irish: Ráth an Chuilinn, meaning "ringfort of the holly") is a village in north County Wexford, Ireland. It lies within the townland of Mangan (Irish: an Mongán, meaning "the little swamp") in the valley of the River Bann, 5 km northwest of Gorey.

Historically it was called Rahincullin, which is an anglicisation of its Irish name.

National Tree Week 21 - 27 March '21

This year Hollyfort Tidy Towns are actively involved in National Tree Week. One of our Sustainable Development Goals is to plant more trees around the village and this year we have outdone ourselves. During Tree Week we are planting 20 trees and aim to plant another 10 during the year. We are grateful to a Pobal grant which enables us to complete this project.
