Tip of the Month - Carbon Calculator

What is a Carbon Calculator?

A Carbon Calculator is a computer programme that calculates your Carbon Footprint.  This is the approximate amount of carbon dioxide produced by the activities of business, individuals and families.

Have a look at Carbon Footprint or the World Wildlife Fund to calculate your footprint.  There is loads of use advice and guidance on how to reduce your carbon footprint through household energy use reductions and waste managment, and a particularly useful site in that regard is the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI)
