Hollyfort Village

Hollyfort (Irish: Ráth an Chuilinn, meaning "ringfort of the holly") is a village in north County Wexford, Ireland. It lies within the townland of Mangan (Irish: an Mongán, meaning "the little swamp") in the valley of the River Bann, 5 km northwest of Gorey.

Historically it was called Rahincullin, which is an anglicisation of its Irish name.

Santa Clause is coming

Meet Santa Clause at Hollyfort Old School House This year, Santa and Mrs Clause will call into Hollyfort at the Old School House on Sunday 11 December. Visit them from 6 pm and see what surprises they have for all the children. Afterwards, at 7.30 pm, join us for the countdown to the lighting-up of the Xmas Tree on the village green.

Hollyfort Tidy Towns thank Bailey's Toymaster, Gorey, for their generous sponsorship of Santa's toys.

Community Trails Grant Mt Nebo

Hollyfort have been successful in their recent Pobal Community Trails Grant application. We can now add four more waymarkers, two extra benches and 350 trees to Mt Nebo trail.

We will also be adding a new path on Mt Nebo which will join the upper and lower existing paths for those who want a shorter walk on the trail.
