Hollyfort Village

Hollyfort (Irish: Ráth an Chuilinn, meaning "ringfort of the holly") is a village in north County Wexford, Ireland. It lies within the townland of Mangan (Irish: an Mongán, meaning "the little swamp") in the valley of the River Bann, 5 km northwest of Gorey.

Historically it was called Rahincullin, which is an anglicisation of its Irish name.

Remembering- our amazing local flora and the medicine of the natural world around us. This 90-minute event will be a combination of walking in the field meeting some of the wonderful plants growing here. This will be interspersed with some relaxation techniques that are wonderful to do in nature and bring reciprocal health and healing; breathing with the trees, slow walking and heart resonance with the plants.

Aternoon session Cancelled 

2.30-4.30 -Remembering- some simples (home made herbal medicines) and how to make them. A 2-hour demonstration of how to make infused oils, vinegars, oxymels, syrups, salves and some other remedies from the plants around us.
