Hollyfort Village

Hollyfort (Irish: Ráth an Chuilinn, meaning "ringfort of the holly") is a village in north County Wexford, Ireland. It lies within the townland of Mangan (Irish: an Mongán, meaning "the little swamp") in the valley of the River Bann, 5 km northwest of Gorey.

Historically it was called Rahincullin, which is an anglicisation of its Irish name.

Family Walk and River Bingo Day

Family Walk :

Join us on Sunday 13 October '19  for a family walk on Mt. Nebo, followed by refreshments in the Old School. Meet at the car park on Monaseed road at 2pm, come rain or shine then walk down to the Bann River for Riber Bingo

River Bingo

Our River Bingo was such a success last year that we have been encouraged to run it again.

Starting at 4.30 pm at the metal bridge, pre-paid numbered balls will be dropped into the river. The first ball to cross the finish line under Grove Bridge will win a super prize. There are lots of prizes too for runners-up. Bingo ball costs €5 each and are available from Cooney’s shop and Tidy Towns committee members.

A great day out for the community.
