Hollyfort Village

Hollyfort (Irish: Ráth an Chuilinn, meaning "ringfort of the holly") is a village in north County Wexford, Ireland. It lies within the townland of Mangan (Irish: an Mongán, meaning "the little swamp") in the valley of the River Bann, 5 km northwest of Gorey.

Historically it was called Rahincullin, which is an anglicisation of its Irish name.

Wanted: Pupils of Hollyfort Old School

Hollyfort Old School is 200 years old this year and we plan to celebrate its anniversary.

As school records are missing, we are looking for any information on the school - past pupils, old photos, stories etc. Are you a past pupil or know family or friends who attended the school, which closed in the 1950s?

We would appreciate any information you can give us.

Please email us at hollyfortvillage@gmail.com
