Hollyfort Village

Hollyfort (Irish: Ráth an Chuilinn, meaning "ringfort of the holly") is a village in north County Wexford, Ireland. It lies within the townland of Mangan (Irish: an Mongán, meaning "the little swamp") in the valley of the River Bann, 5 km northwest of Gorey.

Historically it was called Rahincullin, which is an anglicisation of its Irish name.

Hollyfort wins another award in 2021!

Keep Wexford Beautiful 2021 - Best Community Biodiversity Project

Hollyfort Tidy Towns group was delighted to receive a 'Highly Commended' award for their video project 'Season of Sounds'. The video was shot over 9 months of lockdown recording the sounds of a river through the seasons, from a trickling stream through to the flood waters of the river Bann at Hollyfort's Grove Bridge.
