Hollyfort Village

Hollyfort (Irish: Ráth an Chuilinn, meaning "ringfort of the holly") is a village in north County Wexford, Ireland. It lies within the townland of Mangan (Irish: an Mongán, meaning "the little swamp") in the valley of the River Bann, 5 km northwest of Gorey.

Historically it was called Rahincullin, which is an anglicisation of its Irish name.

Gold for Hollyfort

 

It is a Gold Standard Award for Hollyfort  in the North Wexford 2k Clean 2025.

Many thanks to everyone that helped in the litter-pick, and those who continue to pick up litter and make the area a cleaner place in which to live.


Hollyfort is now entered in the Keep Wexford Beautiful competition and roads will be monitored in July and August.

Hollyfort Pump House revitalised!

 

Big Thank-you to Rural Water and local engineer for revitalising the pump house in Hollyfort.

 We shall add flowers around the trees when it is all done!
