Hollyfort Village

Hollyfort (Irish: Ráth an Chuilinn, meaning "ringfort of the holly") is a village in north County Wexford, Ireland. It lies within the townland of Mangan (Irish: an Mongán, meaning "the little swamp") in the valley of the River Bann, 5 km northwest of Gorey.

Historically it was called Rahincullin, which is an anglicisation of its Irish name.

Gold for Hollyfort

It is a Gold Standard Award for Hollyfort  in the North Wexford 2k Clean 2025.

Many thanks to everyone that helped in the litter-pick, and those who continue to pick up litter and make the area a cleaner place in which to live.

Hollyfort is now entered in the Keep Wexford Beautiful competition and roads will be monitored in July and August.

Keep Picking!!
