Hollyfort Village

Hollyfort (Irish: Ráth an Chuilinn, meaning "ringfort of the holly") is a village in north County Wexford, Ireland. It lies within the townland of Mangan (Irish: an Mongán, meaning "the little swamp") in the valley of the River Bann, 7 km northwest of Gorey.

Historically it was called Rahincullin, which is an anglicisation of its Irish name.

Wildlife Pond Ready!

Thanks to a grant from Hare's Corner, and assistence from locals, Hollyfort has increased the biodiversity of the area with a new wildlife pond. Still a bit more to do, but we are almost there.

Look what we found under the ground! A collection of vintage glass ink bottles, which are now on display in the centre.
